As a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Tier A Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permittee, the Borough is committed to protecting local waterways by implementing a comprehensive stormwater management program. The Borough complies with the requirements of its NJDEP Tier A MS4 permit through public education and outreach, stormwater infrastructure mapping and maintenance, illicit discharge detection and elimination, employee training, and enforcement of stormwater management regulations to help reduce pollution, improve water quality, and mitigate flooding.
