Water Plant Operation

Dear Keyport Residents,

As many residents may be aware, the Borough of Keyport has been in the process of constructing a new Water Plant to supply water
directly to the resident of the Borough of Keyport and on May 1, 2020, the Water Plant came on line.  We have received reports of issues,
including brown water flowing from taps.  Please be advised that this is a normal condition during a transition to a new water supply
and that the Borough is working to address and correct these issues.  We are advising that residents run and/or flush their water
systems until the water clears.  This is a temporary situation and the Borough expects it to be resolve by early next week. 
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that residents will bear with us as we work through this transition.
