Notice of Special Joint Meeting of the Mayor and Council and the Unified Planning Board of the Borough of Keyport.

The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Keyport and the Keyport Unified Planning Board have called a Special Joint Meeting for Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Keyport Municipal Complex, Council Chambers, 70 West Front Street, Keyport, NJ, for the purpose of reviewing a proposed amendment to the Aeromarine Area Redevelopment Plan.  The “Solar Overly Amendment” would allow, as a permitted use, a passive solar panel facility on a portion of the Aeromarine site (Block 141, Lots 14 and15).  At the meeting, and subject to the recommendations of the Keyport Unified Planning Board furnished at that time, the Governing Body may introduce an ordinance and schedule a subsequent public hearing for the adoption of the Solar Overlay Amendment, and conduct any other business which may come before the Governing Body.
