3/13/2010 - KEYPORT HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY DAY


Ms. Lisa M. Savoia, Superintendent of Keyport High School announces "Keyport Community Day" to be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Keyport High School located on Broad Street.    The is event is intended for the community and the schools to work together to highlight some of the educational opportunities and programs students are exposed to at Keyport.


The Borough of Keyport will participate with resources and displays from many departments and affiliated organizations. The Keyport Environmental Commission will have a rain barrel display, the Keyport Recycling commission will team up with Monmouth County Recycling prgram, the Keyport Garden Club will be have a composting display and the Keyport Green Team will be participating highlighting some of our Sustainable NJ initiatives with assistance NJ Resources Save Green Project and Project Porch Light, both, a NJ Clean Energy initiative.

 

On behalf of Mayor Bergen and members of the Keyport Council, we hope to see you at Community Day.

The US Census Bureau will also participate at Community Day stressing the importance of the upcoming 2010 US Census questionnaires.
