Waterfront Construction Update

As we forge ahead into the completion of our beautiful waterfront park and promenade, please keep in mind that we will be burdened with the usual "growing pains" any community is faced with during major revitalization initiatives.  Please be patient, as you can rest assure that it will be worthwhile for all residents and business owners in Keyport.

Effective, Monday, July 13, 2009, American Legion Drive from the West Front Street entrance just past the US Post Office will be closed to thru traffic.  Please enter from Broad Street at American Legion Drive to utilize the new waterfront parking lot. In addition, there is parking available in the new lot that is partially completed on the waterfront at then end of Broad Street.  This lot also provides ample parking.

The Firemen’s Park parking lot located along the waterfront, between the Post Office and Ye Cottage Inn is open for public parking and offers many spaces.  We will closely monitor the parking lot usage during this time in an effort to be proactive in providing as many spaces as possible during construction.
