11/19/2019 - Keyport Business Owners - Information to Reduce Energy Usage and Operating Costs

Dear Keyport Business Owner,

We are writing about a Valuable Program to Help Your Business Reduce Energy Usage and Operating Costs!

In an effort to help our Keyport businesses save energy and money, we want to let you know about valuable programs from New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program™ (NJCEP) and New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG). Direct Install (DI) from NJCEP is a comprehensive and affordable solution for existing small- and mid-sized facilities to upgrade to high-efficiency equipment. For those smaller businesses that don’t qualify for Direct Install, NJNG offers their SAVEGREEN on Main Program.  Both programs offer local businesses a FREE energy assessment to help find ways to reduce your facilities’ energy costs by replacing lighting, HVAC systems and other outdated operational equipment with new, modern, energy-efficient alternatives.

Direct Install highlights include:

  • NJCEP will pay up to 70 percent of retrofit costs.*

  • Eligible businesses can finance the balance at 0% APR for three years through NJNG’s On-Bill Repayment Program

SAVEGREEN on Main highlights include:

  • Upfront 20 percent incentive*

  • Eligible business can finance up to $50,000 at 0% APR for five years through NJNG’s OBRP

  • Performance incentives of 10 percent of total project costs for each of the first three years

The Borough of Keyport is already taking advantage of this program-- we’ve decided to take advantage of DI’s energy-saving solutions to improve the efficiency of several of our municipal buildings. With incentives available up to 100%, we encourage you to follow our lead and do the same for your business. Act now! Call NJNG today.
