Borough Hall and Borough buildings and facilities are closed to the public. 
Only emergency/critical Borough services for the duration of the
State of New Jersey declared State of Emergency and public health
emergency in regards to COVID-19.

Pursuant to the notice requirements of the Open Public Meeting Act, this shall serve as public
notice that the following public meetings for the following commissions/boards of the Borough of
Keyport have been changed to a public meeting via teleconference.

Building Department

Please be advised that the Construction Department is open for business.
We are accepting and processing all permit applications.

Please have your permit filled out completely and drop it in the mailbox in the 
front vestibule at Borough Hall. We will collect all applications and process 
them daily.  Please include your email address on the application. Once the 
application has been approved, we can email you with your approval or 
the payment information. Payments can also be dropped in the mailbox.

We are conducting Emergency Inspections Only. 

Certificate of Occupancy Inspections are being done. We ask that the 
property be vacant when our inspectors go to the premise. You can unlock 
the door for our inspector and wait outside. If there are no code violations, 
the inspector will leave the CO on the kitchen counter. If violations exist, 
we will email you the Inspection report.
